SQUASH PACKHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Brownrigg Agriculture is a leading privately-owned Agribusiness based in the Poukawa Valley.  We are seeking a Packhouse Operations Manager to join our Squash Packhouse Management Team.  Career progression is possible for the right candidate. Your duties will include leading a team, allocating duties and monitoring performance ensuring operational quality and health and safety standards are maintained. Previous Packhouse experience will be valuable and a background involving staff management with factory or logistics will be relevant.  The Operations Manager will have excellent communication skills, be a quick thinker and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You will need reliable transport and be able to work weekends. SEASONAL AG WORKERS

IMMEDIATE START Irrigation team members Knowledge of irrigation systems and associated machinery and equipment would be an advantage, but not essential. FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

FULL TIME PERMANENT We are seeking an organised and professional Finance Administrator to work in our office based in Poukawa, 20 minutes south of Hastings. This role covers a range of duties, including but not limited to end-to-end processing of accounts payables, administrative support for Group enterprises and back up support for accounts receivable. A key requirement of this role is ensuring all workflow is processed in a timely manner by successfully managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure all outcomes are met. The workload is significant at times and the ability to work accurately whilst under pressure is a prerequisite of this position. AGRONOMIST

Brownrigg Agriculture is a progressive agricultural business, supplying to NZ and the world from our operations based 20-minutes south of Hastings. Our platform and portfolio of crops and forages is expanding, bringing with it an increased operational requirement of getting things done right and on time. Our Agronomy team oversees the planning, care and wellbeing of all our crops, pastures and forages across our cropping and livestock enterprises. Reporting to our Agronomy Manager, and working closely with the wider team, you will lead our pasture, forage and arable crop programme. With an emphasis on timely implementation of plans, precision and effective use of inputs and resources you will help the business achieve high performance plant production.
