FIXED TERM CONTRACT Immediate Start  Be part of our progressive farming business, working within our Land team, in Hawkes Bay. We need a highly experienced Fencer to assist with our  fencing maintenance programme. Experienced Shepherd

Are you an experienced, dedicated and motivated individual, who can bring a solid shepherding background to our permanent livestock team in Hawkes Bay? If you are then we want to hear from you! We have shepherding roles available within the Poukawa Valley (20mins south of Hastings) and in Fernhill (15mins from either Hastings or Taradale, Napier).  Our properties operate on flat to steep country, running high performance prime lamb and beef for our large-scale finishing programme. Winter trade lamb is the main stock policy with bull beef farmed alongside to complement.  We also farm Wagyu cattle supplying grass-fed markets and feedlot finishing programmes. A range of paddock sizes provide good mustering opportunities as well as the chance for further development in intensive finishing systems, pasture management and modern farming practices. As a Shepherd you will work under the guidance of Managers who are keen to see staff expand their skills and achieve their goals.
